Answer:

Can Man alter Mars environment to make it more suitable for human habitation? How?

Being that Mars is the most earth-like planet, it is the best candidate for Terraforming. But what does Terraforming means? And how does it work?

Terraforming

is the process of transforming of hostile environment into onesuitable for human life. To Terraform Mars, Engineers would have to nd a wa! This would then focus the 'un(s ra!sonto polar ice cap, melting it and releasing its fro)en carbon dio*ide contents. These wouldbe built at strategic sites across the planet and should also trigger globaltemperature rises. Thickening Martians atmosphere would protect it surface fromultra-violet radiation. Answer:

Yes. Man can alter Martian atmosphere to suit the needs to grow, proliferate and reproduce in Martian Soil. The recent Rover sent by NASA, Perseverance, has an inbuilt tool called MOXIE which basically converts the carbon dioxide in atmosphere of Mars to oxygen. It works on the principle of how trees work - they take in CO2 and give out O2.

For Man to begin a sustainable life on Mars, it is important that basic necessities for life such as nutrient rich soil, oxygen and water is ensured. It is hard to transport millions of fertilizer cans to Mars and hope to restore the soil there, but it is possible to cultivate organic compounds by creating a habitable environment. If Saphrophytes are produced they can act as natural decomposers and break down soil particles.

Before we travel to Mars, we must make sure that the soil samples from these rovers are thoroughly tested. And what kind of accomodation do you expect on a Martian surface, etc.

this is just my theory. it varies from people to people. Do not take this as gospel.
