In our environment the same activity takes place gradually, naturally. Under high pressure and temperature, plastics that are thrown away, melt down and get sedemented into a layer. This melt down, then gradually solidifies, under a bit lower temperature. Hence, this activity shows, plastic is non-biodegradable.
