write a article about my ideal school.

School nowadays is so redundant and bland for most classes. We sit there, take some notes, do some homework, read and write, study, test, and repeat. ALL THE TIME EVERY DAY. I remember in grade school where we would do a whole bunch of different things to learn. Whether that was going outside and experiencing something, or doing something like a dance or a song to learn things. These may be horrible examples of new ways of learning, but I just like it a lot more when I was younger.
The perfect curriculum is such a hard thing to come up with. Personally, I would want teachers who changed school up and got me excited for class. Teachers who want to make a difference and who communicate to their students. I would want more classes where it was interactive learning where we went places to learn, or did certain tasks that would help us master the subject or art of doing that specific something. At the career center where people are actually building things, welding, working with others, making different projects, etc. It’s things like that that end up making people more prepared for their jobs when they get older. The perfect set of classes then for myself would be ones that are interactive and those that you have to get out of your chair for and do something other that read a book, or sit there on a calculator all day. The titles of some of the classes would be like “Interactive learning 101” or “Build a Blank”. Classes such as these will get more people to join and to want to learn more about the subjects and topics. I would study the human body because I have an interest in that, but also if there were classes where you had to make business decisions and there would be a sort of simulator, that would also be very cool to do.
Class time would be spent doing these projects. There wouldn’t be much homework, it would be mostly in class where the students would have to complete projects and work in class or go places and achieve goals before a specific deadline. That would be awesome, it would totally do away with that feeling of being boring and sameness that comes along with school and it would mostly resemble what our lives would be in a couple years if we were to continue pursuing that class. The classes would be pretty different from regular school because it would actually prepare us for our future for our specific job choice. The people in the new classes would have to work together with others which is what you will eventually have to do when you get older and get a job, there would be hard deadlines which is the same as school for the most part except this deadline and the work isn’t in a form or on a sheet of paper, it was a list of goals you had to achieve in order to get to that next level in the class the then hopefully eventually pass that course. I wouldn’t want a GPA system I would want a point system where people would get credit for how that do in that class and they would be awarded points for their work in the class. There also would not be any standardized testing.
