The most common result of the clash of ideas is distanced relations. Generally, a generation gap is mostly seen between parents and kid. It shows that parents fail to understand their kids and vice versa. The parents usually follow the traditions and norms. Likewise they want to follow the old customs and traditions. But the kids are of the modern age with a broad outlook. They do not agree to follow the traditional ways and want to live a modern life as other do.
This is one of the main reasons why the conflict begins. They do not reach to the solution and thus distance themselves because of misunderstandings. This should not be done. The parents as well as children should listen to each other's point of view and discuss on it. This will help to avoid conflicts and help them make a feeling of understand between them.
