Child labour is referred to when children are employed to do certain tasks, or labouring. They are made to work, and are hardly even paid.
Child labour prevents the children from enjoying their childhood, and attending school. Most of children in the rural areas are not allowed school, and they have to work for the daily wages earning hardly a penny. Sometimes boys are allowed school as people think they are the ones who are supposed to earn the bread for family. Girls are kept back to take care of the young ones or to take care of the house.
Child labour is illegal under the 'Right Against Exploitation' right. This right ensures that children are not made labourers and not forced to work. Also it ensures the liberty and freedom of all. Employment of children under the age of 14 is illegal. The people who are caught performing child labour are severely punished.
