After the long struggle with tens of thousands of freedom fighters, India got freedom after a long struggle. India gained independence from the British rule on August 15, 1947. A few days before Independence, on July 22, 1947 (at the conference of the Constituent Assembly), the national flag of India was adopted as a symbol of unity and victory. Our national flag is of three colors, so it is also called the Tricolor flag. Our national flag is in our form of courage and inspiration. This reminds us about our great freedom fighters. It tells us how hard it was to liberate the country for them. Getting freedom was not easy. We should always respect our national flag and never bow down to our motherland.

Our national flag is designed in the parallel direction of the horizon along with three bars of saffronia, white and green color. In the white strip of the middle, there is a blue Ashok Chakra which has 24 bales. All three colors, Ashok Chakra and 24 talents have their own meaning. The saffron color on the top is a symbol of passion and sacrifice; the white strip indicates peace and harmony and the bottom green belt displays the youth and energy. Whereas, Ashok Chakra (i.e. the wheel of Ashoka) is a symbol of peace and courage.

Our national flag is made of cloth fabric, which is hand-knit fabric, it was started by Mahatma Gandhi. All the details of the process and the design are seen by the Bureau of Indian Standards. Apart from kidney in our country, there is absolutely no ban on making a tricolor with any other cloth.
