Write a balanced chemical equation for each of the following reactions:

i) Copper oxide is reduced by hydrogen to copper metal and water
ii) Magnesium burns in steam with an intense white light to form Magnesium oxide &
Hydrogen.
ii) Zinc reacts with hot concentrated solution of sodium hydroxide producing sodium zincate &
hydrogen.
iv) Copper carbonate salt is heated to produce carbon dioxide gas and the black residue of
Copper oxide.
v) Heating lead nitrate salt produces the residue of Lead(II)oxide, the reddish brown gas nitrogen
