The balanced chemical equation is Pb_3O_4+8HCl\rightarrow 3PbCl_2+4H_2O+Cl_2

Explanation:

The chemical formula of red lead is Pb_3O_4

Every balanced chemical equation follows law of conservation of mass.

A balanced chemical equation is defined as the equation in which total number of individual atoms on the reactant side is equal to the total number of individual atoms on product side.

The balanced chemical equation for the reaction of red lead and concentrated hydrochloric acid follows:

Pb_3O_4+8HCl\rightarrow 3PbCl_2+4H_2O+Cl_2

By Stoichiometry of the reaction:

1 mole of red lead reacts with 8 moles of hydrochloric acid to produce 3 moles of lead (II) chloride, 4 moles of water and 1 mole of chlorine gas
