Evelyn Glennie had problem in her ears. Her deafness was noticed first at the age of 8 and was confirmed at 11. She had a deep interest in music but her physical condition was in totally against of her interest . One day she noticed a girl playing a xylophone and decided that she wanted to play a xylophone. Most of the teachers discouraged her but percussionist Ron Forbes spotted her potential and asked her to listen the music not through ears but try it some other way . She realised it and took two drums of different size and when beats it she could feel the vibrations of the notes in her body.she did a lot of hard work and finally her shows became very popular. She also gave free concerts in prisons and hospitals . She has also learnt the trick of reading the lipsing and she became so good in it that she even didn't miss a word. She was a very determined girl who by her passion for music and reached to the top of success.
