• matilda is a classic book penned by Roald Dahl. this book has been delighting kids and parents since 1988, appealing both to readers imaginations and to their sense of justice. i think the author is just inspirational with his words and uses them every wisely in the book under the name of matilda. it is very creative that matilda has special powers in her eyes and can with some practice make a piece of chalk at her school called crunchem hall move around and write a message in the board to her spiteful headmaster to persuade her into giving matilda teachers mansion back. the main characters are matilda, mr wormwood, mrs wormwood,, ms honey, ms trunchbull.matilda is an seven year old girl who loves reading books. mr wormwood is a car salesman who cheats people. mrs wormwood is a heavier set woman that wears much makeup and she doesn't care about matilda. the problem of matilda is she wants good parents. as u knoew matilda parents are notgood ones so it make sense for her to want new parents. matida start going to library everyday when her dad leaves for work and her mom goes to bingo. then matilda reveals the power to mr and mrs honey is astonished when she finds out. the theme of the book is you can achieve anything through intelligence as matilda is a super smart girl and she finds out a way to control her mind so much. the conflict of this book is man vs man because it is matilda vs parents
