Anne Sullivan was an ideal teacher . she brought light love knowledge and vision to Helen she opened the door through which Helen was going to pass from darkness to light.
It was her sympathy , her loving tact that made the first year of helens education so beautiful . Any teacher can take a child to the classroom but not every teacher can make him/ her learn . She believe that her teacher was so near to her that she could not think of herself apart from her . There was not a talent or an aspiration or joy in her that had not been awakened by her teacher's loving touch.

Anne Mansfield Sullivan was the teacher of Helen Keller.

She was the one who taught Helen not just like an ordinary teacher but someone as who would teach all the aspects of life.

The day she arrived in Helen's life, Helen marked it as the most favourite day of her life. This was the day when Anne Sullivan brought a new hope of life in Helen's life.

Helen describes her as the "light of love" in her dark world. Miss Anne taught Helen many things including how to be a better human being, bookish knowledge etc etc.
