Analogous organs are that kind of organs in which structure of the organ is different, but the function of organs are same. Evolution of this type is also called Convergent evolution. Wings of insects and wings of birds, where the structure is different, but the function is the same i.e. flying.
Analogous organs are those organs which have different evolutionary origin and same function...The paddle of whale and fin of fish are analogous. Analogous organs do not show common ancestor though they show convergent evolution, i.e. development of similar daptive functional structures in unrelated group of organisms.
