                           COMETS

️The name comet means a 'hairy star's.

Comets are relatively small and icy celestial bodies revolving around the sun.

They are visible only when they are near the sun.

Comets are bright star like heavenly bodies with a long tail, approaching the sun with an high elliptical orbit. It consists of frozen water, dust and rocks. The tail of the comet moves away from the sun and as it approaches the sun,the comet increases in sise. The comet turns into gaseous matter. Ex Halleys comets is seen once in 76years.
