1- the people are allow to criticise the government
2- freedom of press is granted
3- Rulers are elected by the people

Non - democratic countries
1- people are not allowed to criticise the government
2- workers are not allowed to form trade union
3-freedom of press is denied
4-Rulers are not elected by the people
5- equality is not enjoyed by the people and they depend on the mercy of the ruler
