Generally, caste system is associated with Hindu religion. As per Rig Veda (early Hindu text) there were four categories known as 'varnas'. Varnas consist of Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas and Shudras. Most of the historians still believe that today's caste system is based on these varnas.

Hindu Caste System is a worst thing present in india.
In this system thousands of people are discriminated from others.
This systems was started by some wise peoples to suppress some poor and not very intelligent people.
They wanted to remain high after thousands of years.
So they started this system.
In every country except india one is high by deeds not by birth.
But in india one is high by birth by caste not by deeds.
Even a servent of high caste understand himself higher than a officer of low caste.
Caste System was started by high castes, then what is the fault of low caste of people, only born in low caste.
We should oppose this system and see everyone with same view.
If we do this India will be great nation.
