China–India relations, also designated as Sino-Indian relationships or Indo-Chinese connections, assign to the bilateral connection among the People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Republic of India. Although the association has been friendly, there are boundary conflicts and commercial engagement within the two nations that have at times led to difficult associations.

The modernized involvement started in 1950 when India was amongst the first nations to end confirmed relations with the Republic of China (Taiwan) and acknowledge the PRC as the authorized control of Mainland China
