Munich Agreement:

  1. Munich Agreement was signed between the Great Britain, France and Hitler in the year of 1938. Munich Agreement allowed German annexation of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia. It had an ethnic German majority; therefore Hitler wanted to conquer this part.
  2. He threatened to unleash a war if they would not surrender. Britain, France, and Italy agreed to German annexation and forced Czechoslovakia which was not a part of agreement to the sign the pact to avoid war.
  3. But the agreement failed and averted the outbreak of war. After just six months of the agreement, Hitler invaded the whole of Czechoslovakia.
