Noor Jahan born in the Mughal Dynasty was a woman of great character who brought about much difference for the women of that century. She served as an inspiration who was a feminist by nature. She became an empress in 1577 A.D. Her father worked for the Mughal Emperor, Akbar. She married off an Iranian Sher Afghan ( real name Ali Quli ). She next married Noor ud din Jahangir, a Mughal Emperor. She was famously known for her political sense of mind and ability to handle administrative businesses.
