Sexual Reproduction is a process of development of new individual through formation and fusion of male & female gametes.
Sexual reproduction involves four processes:
i) Formation of haploid cell, the gametes (process-gametogenesis)
ii) Fusion of two gametes forming diploid cells (zygotes after fertilization),
iii) Repeated mitotic divisions of zygote to form embryo,
iv) growth of embryo into new individual.
