Young Italy

 Young Italy was a secret society or political movement founded in 1831 by Giuseppe Mazzini For dissemination of his goal.The aim of this society was to create a united Italian republic through a general insurrection in the Italian reactionary states and also in the lands occupied by the Austrian Empire .Giuseppe Mazzini the founder of young Italy believed that a popular uprising would form a unified Italy.The failure of uprising in 1831 and 1848 meant that the responsibility now  fell on Sardinia-piedmont under its ruler king Victor Emmanuel to unify the Italian states through wars.According to the ruler elites of this region a unified Italy offered them a possibility of economic growth and political development.Mazzini movement young Italy was basically ejected After a last failure in revolt against Austria in Milan in 1853.
