There are several irrigation activities carried in villages now a days. Some are : using HYV(high yielding varietie) seeds,using latest techniques such as inter cropping,mixed cropping. And if villagers are little bit rich they can buy some new machines to plough the soil or to sow the seeds for better growth of seeds.
