The Cape Town water crisis is a popular phrase that peaked between 2017 and 2018. Cape Town is the second largest city of South Africa and its capital city. The city is facing and fighting with severe water crisis in recent years (from 2015).
The water crisis of Cape Town has emerged as result of climate change. The Western region of the Cape Town was marked the region of most affected region in the entire city. Dams started to drain so fast and the people of the city suffered the water scarcity like never before. As per the records the water percentage of the dams came down to 15 percent of its total capacity.
