2. At this time the sun rays fall slant over India,So the temperature remains low. The North-East winds blow over India during this season. As these winds blow from land mass, these cold and dry.
3. The air does not contain much moisture. So,the climate in India during winter in pleasant and healthy.
4. The winter temperature in North India is very low because these regions is far away from the sea.
5. The winter temperature decrease from East to west in North India.
6. In January, the temperature is 18 degrees Celsius at Kolkata, 16 degrees Celsius at Allahabad and less than 10 degrees Celsius at Delhi.
