adventures of toto is based on a monkey . grandfather and the writer bought it from a tonga driver in 5 rupees. first they kept it a secret from grandfather but afterwards she got to know it herself. toto was very naughty. he disturbed all the other animals in grandfather's small zoo.
one day grandfather and grandmother decided not to keep him in the house. grandfather returned toto to the tonga driver in 3 rupees.

This story is based on a Grandfather's liking for animals . The grandfather already had a rabbit , a squirrel and other animals but no monkey . So he brought toto for 5 rupees. Toto's presence was kept a secret to the Grandmother as she didn't like the animals much . As toto was very naughty , he disturbs everyone over there . Afterwards grandfather and grandmother both decided to sell Toto . They finally sold out him for 3 rupees.
