This is a character from, I want something in a cage.

Mr.Purcell was physically a small man, who had red cheeks and a tight stomach, wore large glasses who was described as a wise owl. He was fussy by nature. He considered himself as a professional man.

He also didnt understand the need of a strange man buying a cage full of doves and then releasing them, setting them free. He therefore thought of this man as insane for wasting hard earned money.
