• When he was given the work to clean excretions of Ivan, he took it sportily and believed that he was helping a dying man as he could comfort that man.
• He is very spiritual. He is righteous as he lives life in the correct manner and creates ease for people like Ivan through spiritual healing. Materialism is a danger to human existence while Geerasim is so content with life, whether it is his social status or all the mere possessions he holds.
• He makes meaningful bonds, and he has found peace within himself this has helped him enjoy life and has given him the strength and power to face death. Gerasim is the kind of person who believes in spreading positivity around and never shies away from work.
