Gulliver is the protagonist in the novel with an insatiable lust for trouble .Gulliver was disciplined and was always eager to know about things around him. in part in part 1 he was a victim of Lilliputian politics. The Lilliputians, no doubt were very clever. he was a straight forward man compared to the cunning, vindictive and petty Lilliputians. Gulliver never took undue advantage of his size and never retaliated, although at a times they were violent with him. He realized his position as a guest in the country, so escaped without harming or affecting pain on them. He cannot be called a coward, on the contrary. He went through the bad experiences of nearly being devouret by a Giant Rat, taken captive by a monkey, shipreged on a far away shores and shot in the face with poison arrows. But he was extremely sensitive person. Wherever he never troubled or disturbed the inhabitants of those lands. He naive and too trusting. That is why he was exploited by the inhabitants many a time.
