Helen Keller was a blind and deaf lady. She was helpless. She lived in America. It was very difficult for her to learn things and knowledge. She was not much talked to or much interacted with.

She had Ms Anne Sullivan as her personal tutor (and helper indirectly). Mrs Sullivan came from Perkin's institute. With her help Helen was able to learn the degree subjects and lessons. Finally she passed the degree in Arts in 1903. She was the first deaf and mute person to do so.
