The character Jimmy is taken from the prose ‘A Boy’s best friend’. This short story is written by Isaac Asimov. He is a Russian – born American biochemist.

Jimmy is a moon born boy. He is tall and thin but rather tall for a ten year old. His arms and legs were long and agile. He looked thicker and stubbier in his spacesuit on but he could handle the lunar gravity as no Earth - born can. Jimmy had no other friend on moon except his robot dog Robutt.  

We can say Jimmy was affectionate as he loved Robutt and he could do anything him. Jimmy was obstinate; we know this as when his parents bought him a real dog from earth he chose to stay with robutt and stuck to his decision, even when his parents were creating extreme pressure to leave Robutt.

We know he was stubborn, as The adults of Lunar city always warned not to go to dark side of crater but Jimmy didn’t listened to them and went to explore the crater.

Jimmy was also very confident of Robutt. He knew that Robutt would protect him from any danger.
