Monsieur Loisel is a hard-working man who loves his wife, but does not understand her. He wants to please her, and makes sacrifices to give her the luxury, if only temporarily, that she so craves. He is a simple man who is satisfied

Answer:

Matilda's husband was a humble person. He was content in whatever came in his plate and didn't dream of lavish cuisines. He was a loving and caring husband and couldn't bear his wife's tears. He was an economical person and knew his limits and understood his budget vey well. He was a sacrificing person and when his wife requested him for 400 francs for buying herself a dress, he sacrificed the sum of money he had collected to buy a hunting gun for himself. He was maturely behaved person. He was satisfied with his life. He was a calm and composed being.
