Miss Sullivan was Helen's first teacher who came into her life as a light of love. She used to her with love and care and never lost her patience. She taught her manual language. she guided her in best possible . She taught hergrammar history science and mathematics.

She also took her to the Boston Perkins Institute of deaf and blind . It was Her efforts that makes Helen learn to speak . As miss Sullivan was a true mentor for Helen.
