shortly before Helen Keller's seventh birthday Anne Sullivan arrived to educate helen .The world changed for Helen from that moment and it was due to miss Sullivan's  preservence, patience,dedication and tenderness that Helen learned to communicate and receive education at the primeir institute,Miss Sullivan began teaching manual alphabets and Keller was thrilled to realize that there was a word to describe every object and idea ,Helen chronicles ' her first several years of educational development speaking of sullivans instructional methods as well as her response to sullivans demenour and evolving techniques.miss Sullivan remained with all the time and thus saved her frustration unlike any other deprived person .and miss Sullivan was the the only one who encouragement to write a book

Anne Mansfield Sullivan was the teacher of Helen Keller.

She was the one who taught Helen not just like an ordinary teacher but someone as who would teach all the aspects of life.

The day she arrived in Helen's life, Helen marked it as the most favourite day of her life. This was the day when Anne Sullivan brought a new hope of life in Helen's life.

Helen describes her as the "light of love" in her dark world. Miss Anne taught Helen many things including how to be a better human being, bookish knowledge etc etc.
