The narrator's grandmother was a determined and courageous lady. She had sacrificed her dream of going to school for her father and then later for her family. She was an emotional lady who cried when she was not able to know what happened in the next episode of her favourite novel. She requested  her granddaughter to teach her to read and write. She was so dedicated that she did all her homework on time. Within no time she was able to accomplish what she wanted.
