The king of Brobdingnag foreshadows the Houyhnhnms in Part-IV, in terms of virtue. A wise person with his moral values intact, he employs his officials on the basis of their virtues. Being anti-war and anti-violence, he abhors the concept of war and gunpowder that is capable of only destruction. His dislikefor Gullivers country is to such an extent that he calls the English to be the most perniciousrace of little odious vermin.
