Anne Frank was born on 12 June, 1929. She was a very sensitive, sharp and a mature girl of thirteen. Actually unpleasant circumstances she was living in, made her mature and wise beyond her years. Being a jew, she was constantly hounded by the Nazi's. She was living in a terrible time.

No doubt, she had a family, relatives and friends. But she was an introvert. She felt utterly lonely and couldn't confide in others. She needed a true friend whom she could open out her heart and share her innermost feelings. She found that true friend in "Kitty".

The author of the diary. Anne was born on June 12, 1929, in Frankfurt, Germany, and was four years old when her father moved to Holland to find a better place for the family to live. She is very intelligent and perceptive, and she wants to become a writer. Anne grows from an innocent, tempestuous, precocious, and somewhat petty teenage girl to an empathetic and sensitive thinker at age fifteen. Over the course of the diary, she grows from a spoiled, somewhat naive young girl of thirteen to a self-aware young woman of fifteen. Although she has little political consciousness at the beginning of the diary, she grows to question anti-Semitism and the point of war. During her time in the annex, she suffers from boredom, despair, and the petty persecution of those around her. She also discovers a wealth of good qualities in herself. After the annex residents are discovered, she goes to the concentration camp at Belsen, in Germany, where she dies before her sixteenth birthday. Anne dies of typhus in the concentration camp at Bergen-Belsen in late February or early March of 1945.
