Maria Sharapova is a Russian tennis player. However, since 1994, she has been residing in the US. She is the only Russian to win the Grand Slam title to date. She has also won silver medals in the Womens’ Singles for the Summer Olympics in 2012. Maria Sharapova was ranked at the World’s first position in August 2005 when she was 18 years old.
