Near and far are nothing but two comparative words. These words are always said with reference to some another thing. So I am explaining a classroom activity which will help you in understanding this concept completely.

In this diagram i made a class with 5 students named A, 1,2,3,4. Suppose your name is A. Now see student 2 is most near person around you and he is at very less distance. And student 4 is far from you. As you can see student 1 and student 3 is also far from you but these all students are comparatively near and far from you.
