Terry Moore’s Strangers in Paradise. The book started in 1993 and finished in 2007 after a run of 106 issues. It is the most effecting experience I have ever had reading a comic book.
I don’t know the right word to describe the scale of the story. Epic doesn’t really fit, neither does saga. It’s a big story, but it’s also a small personal story. The book started as just a three issue mini-series. That was all it was supposed to be. It was supposed to be Moore’s way of breaking into the industry.
