-In Belgium 59% people speak Dutch , 40% French but at the same time in the capital,Brussel 80% people-speak French while only 20% speak Dutch. To unite Belgium some amendments were made to respect the feelings of both the minority and majority.
In the Central govt. the number of Dutch and French speaking ministers should be equal.
Many powers of the Central govt. should be shared with State govt.
To protect their culture, language and traditions "community governments" may be formed.
Whereas, In Sri-Lanka the situation seems to be negative. 74% people speak Sinhala and 18% speak Tamil.

Over the years, Sri Lanka has been riddled with civil wars and political instability. Refusal to share power has resulted in the weakening of the country.
