There over 3. 5 billion social media users across the world. This goes to show how people connect through social media. A survey also showed that over 67% of people use social media to keep in touch with other people. Most teens use social media to stay connected. People can connect through many different social media sites. Sites such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are used by people worldwide and keep everyone updated. Even workplaces and businesses often use social media for communications. Not only this, But we are aware of world issues thanks to the internet. The internet has brought awareness on issues such as racism and feminism. Teenagers are more connected with the world and have developed a deeper understanding of problems due to the internet. The internet brings people together and allows all of us to unite.
