I have been locked down in my apartment since Wednesday, March 11. I live alone, with my laptop, a few cactuses and a stuffed cat. I am on the fourth floor of a used-to-be-lively neighbourhood in Turin, Northern Italy.

On the first Sunday, I woke up at sunrise and sneaked out for a quick run. I hate running. But the urge of moving and watching the city still half asleep was so big I didn’t really think about it. I guess I just wanted to fool myself into believing everything was normal. Well, it isn’t. But going out is not the answer. It is crystal clear now that we have to stay at home. It doesn’t matter if I am healthy and young: I have to do my part and not put others at risk, not compromise the weakened healthcare system.

Composition about my corona lockdown days

Corona virus or COVID19 is a pandemic which led a whole earth a stand still . Most of the countries are recovering from the pandemic and many countries like America, Italy and Spain are going through their second wave of the virus. Many of the people suffered because of that financially.

My lockdown days were simple and I enjoyed reading and attending the online classes on zoom app and sometimes making trouble for my little sister having siblings is sometimes really very annoying right. And I discovered a new hobby that is dairy writing. In that dairy I take everyday a new essay topic to write on , and I helped my mother in cleaning the house and playing and sometimes fighting with my younger sister who is really very naughty and annoying and I sometimes be really very annoying for her also which she obviously don’t like at all.

Lockdown bring some kind of closeness with family especially for those who didn’t spend much time at home just because of hectic schedule. I spend my time with the family during the lockdown. We enjoyed playing board games like: ludo, carrom, chess on every weekend and sometimes outdoor games like: Badminton, tennis, cricket and many other interesting games.
This pandemic teaches us a lot of things which we are not bother of in our previous lifestyle that is before the pandemic. It teaches us to monitor our immunity and to religiously taking care of our health which we are obviously not bothered about at all.
The corona virus pandemic taught us to control our needs and to taking care of others . From this pandemic we are still fighting to win a crucial battle against corona virus which we cannot take as for granted. So please be healthy and be safe.
