In today's world, it is very hard to find a person with qualities we need & become the one to be admired. Moreover, for a political figure, the decision becomes even harder. Nevertheless, I still find a suitable candidate for this admiration. The Political figure I admire the most is India's 11th President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was a man of simplicity and integrity. He was the most valued person in the whole country for his contribution as a scientist, a teacher and as a president. It is well known that more than his name people knew him as "Missile Man of India" and this name was earned by him during his involvement in Nuclear Test in India.

APJ Abdul Kalam was born in Tamil Nadu. Besides being poor, he never gave up his education. He started supporting his family at an early age. He continued his studies & completed his graduation. He got a lot of awards & achievements under his name as a scientist. His contribution to ISRO was considered a remarkable stride. He contributed a lot to Agni & Prithvi Missiles.

The other tremendous contributions made by him were during his serving as a president. He became the 11th president of India in 2002. He served the nation with all his resources. He had the vision to lead & develop the country. He was so likeable among people that he was called "People's President". During his presidency, there were a lot of improvements in the economy of the country.

After the presidency period, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam again turns to his old passion of teaching students. He understood the value of education & felt the need to spread his knowledge. He understood the problems of people around him. He worked for many renowned and prestigious institutes of India to fulfil his objective of education. Above all, he believed that the youth is the future & pride of the country. They are the future leaders. They are very talented but need the opportunity to prove their worth. So, he supported them in their every good deed. He wrote many books but the most notable work was " India 2020"

Later on, this endearing leader died during delivering a lecture to students in Shillong by sudden cardiac arrest in 2015. Even at his last moments, he was doing a satisfactory deed & empowering the future youth.
