THE CHRISTMAS PRESENT
It was winter. It was snowing. I always wanted a skiing set but, I was from a very poor family. On the day before Christmas, I walking down the street. I saw a man well dressed. He saw me and gave me a smile and hugged me. I was shocked. I asked him who he was. But he didn't answer. Tears were rolling down his tears. He did seem a bit familiar but I couldn't guess who he was. He took me to my home. I called out my mom. The moment she saw him, she hugged him and was filled with joy. I was puzzled on what was going on. That man was no one but my father, who had gone to the city in search for work. I had not seen him since the past five years, that is when I was a year or so. The next day, I got my present, which I had waited for years.
