A laptop, often called a notebook or "notebook computer", is a small, portable personal computer with a "clamshell" form factor, an alphanumeric keyboard on the lower part of the "clamshell" and a thin LCD or LED computer screen on the upper portion, which is opened up to use the computer.
If one asks me about the advantages of laptops....well, there are n. number of advantages but i would rate the Portability thing the best.Of sourse You can't carry your destop computers everywhere..so, laptops are best for carrying..but again everything which has advantages has diadvantages too-
one of the most harmful disadvantage is effects on health. it can damage your eyes, if you're on laptop most of the times, A laptop's integrated screen often requires users to lean over for a better view, which can cause neck and/or spinal injuries...etc,
