Also, the kids relax and enjoy this time of the years as they do not have to go to school or colleges. Most of the children either go to a cool place like a hill station or visit their native village to have fun with cousins, and friends. Apart from that, some kids choose to stay at home and join hobby classes or learn new skills. In this essay on summer vacation, we are going to discuss various ways of enjoying summer vacation.

Recently our summer vacation ended and it was disheartening to go back to school again. Going back to the same monotonous life is not easy, however, the memories of the vacation help us to get over the blues.
This vacation we planned to visit our village along with our cousins. It was a kind of extended family trip and we were quite excited to go back to our roots. It all started with a ride on the bullock carts which was totally new for us.
The fresh environment, greenery and simple life of the people living there made us happy. Finally, when we stopped into our old house, we were given a warm welcome by our neighbours. It was not a lavish trip but a simple one with playing around in the open fields, enjoying the warmth of nature and getting a bath in the pond.
We were clueless how a month got over just in the blink of an eye. We were not happy to depart, however, the reality was to be accepted and we had to return back to our city with all the pleasant memories with us.
