Answer:

I was so much elated and excited for having been selected to represent the school in the inter-school singing competition. I won the best singer award at the inter-house singing competition. I could do it because I practiced very hard. My teacher also trained me greatly. If she had not taught me the singing tips, I would not have been able to win this much coveted award.

My granny also helped me a lot; she played harmonium while I sang. She taught me how to go up and down the scale; she taught me how to give classical touches to singing. As a result my singing improved considerably. She also taught me how to play harmonium. The judges gave me extra marks for playing the harmonium while singing. The school honored me for bringing laurels to the school. My picture with the trophy appeared in the newspapers. My parents were also proud of me.

Explanation:

started singing at the age of six. My mother encouraged me a lot and she used to accompany me to the classes. I used to enjoy all the classes and used to wait for the next one.

I strongly believe that passion drives us towards the purpose of life if one determines their likes and interests. I always participated in the competitions according to my age whenever they were organized. Recently, an inter-school singing competition was organized. I felt very glad when I got selected for the same.

I wanted to give my best. I have prepared well for the same and attempted. I received the first prize and my school name was announced. I could not express my happiness in words.

It was a proud moment for me as I was representing my school. Achieving accolades for the school gives immense pleasure more than for ourselves.
