I was so much elated and excited for having been selected to represent the school in the inter-school singing competition. I won the best singer award at the inter-house singing competition. I could do it because I practiced very hard. My teacher also trained me greatly. If she had not taught me the singing tips, I would not have been able to win this much coveted award.
My granny also helped me a lot; she played harmonium while I sang. She taught me how to go up and down the scale; she taught me how to give classical touches to singing. As a result my singing improved considerably. She also taught me how to play harmonium. The judges gave me extra marks for playing the harmonium while singing.
