During these harsh days of this wretched year, that is 2020, people have found solace in internet surfing to avoid being 'victims' of boredom and depression. Since office goers now have to work from home, the demand for internet consumption has very rapidly risen and schools are conducting classes online,too. Online delivery of almost every thing,be it food, grocery, stationery, toiletries or clothes and footwears, have created a big burden on the internet service providers across the globe.
Even if the internet has made our lives easy and quicker, the impact of its heavy usage on both adults and children is disastrous. The sleep pattern in chidren, specifically teenagers, has been altered and they have started avoiding physical activities, leading to obesity and other various health problems. People have started investing more of their time online than with their loved ones since they've all been under one roof for a long time in so many years.
Overall, the pandemic has caused a surge in internet usage like never before. It'll be really hard to recover from the addiction of net-surfing we've developed once this pandemic is over.
