India’s national animal, Tiger, is one of the most beautiful and world’s best wild animal. It is called as the royal animal also. Tiger mostly found in Asia especially in Southeast Asia china, Korea and Russia. It is found in India also mostly in West Bengal.
Tiger has strong muscular body of powerful froe limbs with a large round head and a long tail. Its tail helps him to maintain balance while running to catch a prey. It hunts in night and sleeps in day. It belongs to the cat family and also called as large cat species. Its eyes are same to the domestic cats. Its night vision is about six times better than humans. It hunts mostly in the early morning and evening. Tiger is found mainly in two colours, first is brown or yellowish with black strips on whole body and second is white with black strips. There are six different kinds or subspecies of tiger in which five are still alive today. White tiger is the subspecies of Bengal tiger with the regular black strips but the colour of its eyes is blue.
Tiger has amazing stamina and courage. It can run approximately 85km/h and jump about 7 to 8ft. It is a carnivorous mammal. It can climb on the trees and swim in water also.
