There is a very beautiful colour on his coat. It feeds on the flesh of animals. It kills big beasts like cow, deer, sheep and goat. There are also some tigers that prefer human flesh. They are called ‘man-eaters’. The tiger can swim, climb and jump well. It sleeps by day and hunts at night.The biological name of the tiger is Panthera tigris. It is a carnivorous animal which comes under the category of mammal as it gives birth to a child. It is found all over Asia especially in the countries like Bhutan, China, India, and Siberia. Bengal tigers are generally found in Sundarbans located in south-east Asian countries. They are found in different colours especially white, blue and orange with black stripes. Black stripes on their upper body help them to hide away while hunting. Most of us aware that tiger poaching is a significant threat. every part of tiger like skin, bones, body parts is in high interest in China and parts of southeast Asia. Tiger skin is used for ornamental purposes, and bones and body parts are used as elements in ancestral medicine. Two factors worsen the result of Tiger poaching-habitat loss and the poaching of prey animals. India has excellent wildlife laws that prevent the killing of almost all species of wild animals. the problem is that, in many cases, the laws are not implemented diligently because many states do not consider wildlife security to be very important. The Tigers are a brilliant symbol of our country and all over the world. India is known as the land of tigers. Our planet will be a worse place if this valuable gift of nature vanishes permanently.  ‘Project Tiger’ was launched by the government of India in April 1973 in order to get control over their number. The main threats to the tiger’s life are deforestation means habitat loss and community fragmentation. According to the statistics of 1993, the total number of the tiger in the country was almost 3,750. Around 23 tiger reserves have been made under the campaign of Project Tiger throughout the country.Tigers are among the most recognisable and popular of the world's charismatic megafauna. The extent of the area occupied by tigers is estimated at less than 1,184,911 km2 (457,497 sq mi), a 41% decline from the area estimated in the mid-1990s. In 2016, wildlife conservation group at WWF declared that world's count of wild tigers has risen for the first time in a century. They have featured prominently in ancient mythology and traditions, and continue to be represented in modern films and literature. They appear on many flags, coats of arms, and as charms for sporting teams. The tiger is the national animal of Bangladesh, India, Malaysia and South Korea.And it or duty to protect tiger !!!
