Leaf: Hey, tree, don't you get tired of standing there all year forever?

Tree: If I don't stand here, rooting to my soil, you all will be dead by night.

Leaf: Really? You are sacrificing for us, father.

Tree: I am sacrificing for the living beings, son. So you do too.

Leaf: I am tired of swinging and hanging from your branches.

Tree: If you want to see what standing is like, you will be dead. It will hurt so badly if someone tears you away from me. It isn't good for you and myself.

Leaf: Yes, the other day a kid tore away the leaf beside me. I saw him die with my own eyes.

Tree: Yes, it hurt me a lot, too. Kids don't know what to tear and what not. They take away my young children from me, especially my flowers.

Leaf: And we lose our flower sisters. It is not fair,father. Why would they do that?

Tree: It is because they don't understand our language, our pain and sorrow, son. They don't hear us cry or see us die. They cut us down but don't feel the pain. That is why, humans are cruel and heartless.
